New integration gateway

We have deployed Phase 1 of a new integration gateway, the LoanPro Core Model Context Protocol (MCP). This initial phase provides the ability for external AI agents to securely connect to LoanPro, streamlining your business operations without the need for custom API middleware.
Key callouts for this phase:
- MCP tools are currently only available for loan accounts.
- UI features are not available yet—integration is API only.
How can I use it?
You can connect your AI agents directly to LoanPro’s service engine, allowing them to safely read account data and autonomously execute core loan servicing tasks within strict guardrails.
Supported MCP tools:
- Loan Query
- Add or Edit Payment
- Add or Edit Action and Results
- Add or Edit AutoPay
- Update Custom Field
- Add or Edit Promise to Pay
Where can I find it?
The LoanPro Core MCP requires a multi-step setup process:
- Contact your LoanPro representative to obtain an active MCP authorization token.
- Connect compatible MCP clients or AI Tools to the production endpoint: https://mcp.loanpro.io/core.
- Configure execution prompts in your application.
Here are a few supported API platforms you can use AI agents with and how to configure them:
- Claude: Configured directly within the desktop app by navigating to Settings > Connectors. You can set up a new MCP server by pointing to the production URL and providing your authorization token.
- Cursor IDE: Configured directly within Cursor's settings under the MCP or AI tools panel. You must add a new MCP server, insert the production URL, and supply the authorization token as an environment variable.
- Postman: Set the production URL as the request endpoint and include your authorization token in your Headers as Authorization: Bearer <your_token>.
How can I test it?
Once you have obtained your MCP authorization token, you can test the gateway integration using these steps:
- Open the connection settings in your AI agent, custom client, or Slack bot.
- Configure the agent to connect to https://mcp.loanpro.io/core using your authorization token.
- Prompt your agent to execute a supported loan action (e.g., "Query loan details," "Add an AutoPay," "Update custom field," or "Log a Promise to Pay").
- Verify that the AI agent executes the action and returns the expected results.
