Agent-facing UI added to payment splits

We have added an agent-facing UI to accompany the Line of Credit Custom Payment Splits feature. The UI provides the ability to input custom split amounts and enable split allocation amounts for AutoPays.
Previously, this was an API-only feature with partial AutoPay support. The feature now works seamlessly for both one-time payments and AutoPays.
How can I use it?
You can use the enhanced Line of Credit Custom Payment Splits setting to create precise, agent-controlled allocation across linked loans within line of credit accounts—instead of rule-based distribution.
A custom parent type is required to configure the payment split type. The same split type is used for both one-time payments and AutoPays. Both reference the split type via paymentSplitTypeId. Secure Payments still processes a single parent transaction only—no child-level transactions.
A custom payment split type—a configurable default that determines the logic for how split payments are allocated across linked accounts—is required when using payment splits. During this phase of the feature, custom payment split types must be configured by the LoanPro team. Reach out to your LoanPro representative to help with this one-time setup process.
Once configured, split types are used for both one-time payments and AutoPays. Existing payment splits behavior remains unchanged when a custom allocation is not provided.
Where can I find it?
This feature is used in two different locations within an individual line of credit account:
To register a one-time payment with a payment split, navigate to Summary > Make a Payment > Payment Split Type. For a more extensive breakdown on one-time payments, visit our Split Payments documentation.
To use this setting for AutoPays, navigate to the AutoPay tab to schedule a new AutoPay or edit an existing one. Next, view General Information & Processing Information > Amount (s) & Should Payments be Split?.
How can I test it?
Before you can test the Line of Credit Custom Payment Splits setting, a payment split type configured with a custom parent type must exist in your environment.
For one-time payments:
- Open an LOC account with linked accounts and log a split payment using a split type.
- Enter fixed amounts for each account and confirm the sum equals the parent amount.
- Submit the payment and verify each child account receives its exact specified allocation.
For AutoPays:
- Open and LOC account, then navigate to AutoPay > General Information > Processing Information > Should Payments be Split?
- Set the Custom Parent Amount and Payment Type / Allocations
- Define per-account allocations
- Confirm the AutoPay details and click Finish
Key Benefits
This feature gives you total control over how payments are allocated to linked accounts, opening the door for unique and complex payment allocation scenarios. Custom Payment Splits supports up to 20 linked accounts per payment split. Also, after users initially configure the account allocations, the feature automatically recalculates and drops accounts as they are paid off.
Validation Checks
- When more than 20 accounts are linked, expect to see this error message: "You can only log a custom split for up to 20 accounts at once."
- When allocation is more than a child's payoff or the total balance of the LOC account, expect to see this error message: "Allocation to an individual linked account cannot be greater than its payoff or balance."
