Account Manager portfolio search

We have updated advanced filtering capabilities on both Loans and Line of Credit (LOC) Account Manager pages to provide more flexible and accurate search combinations. Users can now select a parent portfolio or sub-portfolio independently of the other, ensuring accurate search results across all portfolio levels.
Previously, filtering by the Has Portfolio field automatically included all sub-portfolios, excluding accounts only assigned to the parent level.
How can I use it?
You can use the updated filtering capabilities to search for loan and LOC accounts by specific parent portfolios or sub-portfolios associated with them.
Note: Portfolios need to be configured at the tenant level and then associated with individual loan and LOC accounts before you can use the filters. Learn more about portfolios in our Knowledge Base.
Where can I find it?
Within the Advanced Filters panel, you can use the Has Portfolio field when searching for loan and line of credit accounts on their respective Account Manager pages. To open the Advanced Filters panel, click the filter icon (three horizontal parallel lines arranged vertically).
How can I test it?
Before you can test the updated filtering capabilities, you need to:
- Create a portfolio with at least one sub-portfolio at the tenant level by accessing Settings > Loan > Portfolio > Portfolio Management.
- Open an individual loan or LOC account and add only the parent portfolio to it.
- To add a portfolio to a loan account: Open an individual account, then navigate to Settings > Loan > Portfolio.
- To add a portfolio to a LOC account: Open an individual account, then navigate to Account Settings > Settings > Portfolio.
After adding the parent portfolio to a loan or LOC account, you are ready to test this update. On the Loans Account Manager or Line of Credit Account Manager page—depending on the account type you want to test—follow these steps:
- Open the Advanced Filters panel.
- In the
Has Portfoliofield dropdown menu, select the parent portfolio name and click the ‘Apply Filters’ button.- The account with the parent portfolio you added should appear in the search results.
- Clear the previous filter, select a sub-portfolio name that is not associated with the account, and click the ‘Apply Filters’ button.
- The account with the parent portfolio you added should not appear in the search results.
- Perform another search with both the parent portfolio and one of the sub-portfolios selected.
- The account with the parent portfolio you added should appear in the search results.
